Jim Bower, Owner of McDonalds

Honored for his continued support of the Angels Addiction Street Outreach. His business has provided a meeting spot for the volunteers for years. He has helped supply food, come out and volunteered on the streets and shut down his restaurant on Christmas Eve to host the Christmas Party for the children of Angels of Addiction street outreach.

Joel Gamble, Former NFL Player & Founder of The Joel Gamble Foundation

Honored for bringing football to the children of Angles of Addiction street outreach in a forgotten neighborhood where people are dying every week from drug overdose or senseless killings. He gave our MVP players the opportunity to play on the field of the Ravens Stadium showing them anything is possible. He has since partnered with the BCPD to create a program where officers can enjoy an afternoon with kids at year round sporting events.

Chief Melvin Russell & the Baltimore City Police Department Community Collaboration Division

Chief Russell leads the Police Department's Community Collaboration Unit and has been at the forefront of neighborhood outreach efforts at a time of heightened tensions. The team has helped to serve food, hand out job resources, and even delivered mattresses donated by the Naval Academy. They do seasonal outreach as well with Somebody Cares Baltimore and other community block parties. Their outreach continues to grow. Just last week they were serving ice cream on the streets and now the team has a FUN Trailer for the kids with a basketball hoop & scooters.
